What a nice lake Iris Lake is. Iris Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawtooth Range. For the period of the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Iris Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Iris Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Iris Lake; during the month of January you get the most snow around here; July meanwhile

Be careful coming to the Sawtooth Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marsh Creek, and do take a hike on the Bear Valley Creek Trail. So much entertaining stuff to do at Iris Lake, so little time. Lola Creek Campground is a brilliant campground here. There are some great whitewater spots on Salmon River - Middle Fork. Lakes? Sure, Cutthroat Lake is close by.

is a pleasant site to do that, and going for a hike along the Prospect Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Iris Lake is good fun, Sheepeater Hot Springs Campground is a good local campground; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Blue Bunch Trail.
