The beauty of Iris Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Iris Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lola Creek Campground, and do take a hike on the Blue Bunch Trail. A common amount of rain falls here at Iris Lake; most of the snow falls through January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | Hot Springs Campground is a nice location to camp nearby; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Valley Creek Trail.
Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Marsh Creek, and good skiing awaits you at Brundage Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Iris Lake. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range. Hiking along the Prospect Creek Trail is brilliant fun, and get soaked paddling on Salmon River - Middle Fork.
