If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grimes Creek; there's some interesting stuff to distinguish at Orchard Dam right next door to Indian Creek Reservoir. During the summertime at Indian Creek Reservoir highs are mostly in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime       at Indian Creek Reservoir temperatures dip to the 20's. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Tamarack. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Indian Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Boise-KOA is a good place for that; after a long day outdoors Bridgestreet River Quarry is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Best Western Northwest Lodge is a wonderful location to get some rest; there is a delightful hiking trail                  nearby called the Hulls Gulch Nature Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Indian Creek Reservoir. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bogus Basin, and Mores Creek is a nice whitewater spot close by. Indian Creek Reservoir gets very little rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is typically the driest month.
