For the period of the warmest time of the year at Independence Lakes temperatures are regularly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. So many fun things to do here at Independence Lakes, too great to be true. Hit the slopes at Pomerelle Mountain in close proximity. This lake is                  so wonderful. Cache Peak is clearly visible from Independence Lakes, and you can stay the night at Thompson Flat Campground.
