It is very dry here at Imogene Lake generally; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is when it's the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Alturas Inlet Campground is a wonderful site to camp, and you'll find a delightful lake called Bowknot Lake. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Sawtooth Range is great! Camping at Imogene Lake is perfect fun, Heyburn Mountain       Campground is a perfect local campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail. Through the warmest time of the year at Imogene Lake highs are generally in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Imogene Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Soldier Mountain Ski Resort;                  you can have a good hiking adventure along the Bull Moose Trail.
