Many people like to go to Ice Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. Summertime highs at Ice Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Ice Lake. Just can't get enough of Ice Lake. Cold Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
Clearwater River - North Fork has a great whitewater paddling

| | spot close by, and going for a hike on the Dead Mule Trail is always a glorious adventure. Go for a hike on the Shin Point Trail, and you can stay the night at Mush Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ice Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Creek Campground, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Kelly Creek.
