    The beauty of Hummock Lake is reason enough to stop by. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Hummock Lake. Glide down the rapids of Salmon River - Yankee Fork in a kayak; everybody close by loves skiing at Sun Valley. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a wonderful view of Merriam Peak from Hummock Lake, and a great close by hotel is Redfish Lake Lodge. Get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River, and let's not forget Bighorn Creek which  
   is a stream that you may come across during your stay.
For the duration of the summertime highs here at Hummock Lake get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hummock Lake are in the-10's. Don’t forget to take a look at Four Lakes Basin since you're here at Hummock Lake, and if you came to camp Marshall Creek Campground is a delightful
 
               location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place to visit in the vicinity of Hummock Lake is Windy Devil.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Hummock Lake you find the Yellow Belly Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail; if you're here, you could also go to beautiful Born Lakes. Hummock Lake is commonly a pretty dry site; December is when you get the most snow here, and the driest of the months is July. White Cloud Peaks is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Hummock Lake. There's so much to do here at Hummock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Holman Creek Campground is a good place for that.
