Howard Reservoir is a pleasant place to camp, Federal Gulch Campground is a pleasant place; Howard Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Howard Reservoir is a location that is relatively dehydrated typically; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest.
