On a wonderful day you get a sight of Merriam Peak from Hourglass Lake, and Four Lakes Basin is a beautiful location any time of year. After a long day outdoors SnowRun by ResortQuest is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Sun Valley.       For the period of the warm days of summer here at Hourglass Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Hourglass Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. It is very waterless here at Hourglass Lake commonly; through the month of December you get the most snow around here; the driest month of the year is July. This                  lake is so wonderful. Lakes are delightful; Tiny Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Hourglass Lake, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Salmon River - Yankee Fork. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful location close to Hourglass Lake is Windy Devil; why not camp at Holman Creek Campground if you're here at Hourglass Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Marshall Creek Campground is a glorious place to camp, and if you're interested in cool geologic characteristics try Castle Peak. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Hourglass Lake.
