  This lake is so wonderful. Devils Chair is an out of the ordinary place to stop at while at Horseshoe Lake. Take some time to go to Clearwater National Forest if you're here, and Super 8 St. Regis is a delightful place to get some rest. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range, not enough time. Horseshoe Lake is next to Clearwater National Forest which is a picturesque place; you can stay the night at Kelly Creek.
Horseshoe Lake is located
    in the Bitterroot Range. You find the 13-mile-long Indian Grave Creek to Wilderness Gateway Bridge portion of Lochsa River nearby; this is a class IV whitewater part.
