Horseshoe Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Squirrel Creek Guest Ranch and Inn is a brilliant local campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Boundary Creek Trail. If the weather is nice here at Horseshoe Lake, you can go for a hike along the Bechler River Trail; if you need a location to stay Teton Mountain View Lodge is a good choice. Through the warmest       time of the year highs here at Horseshoe Lake reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Horseshoe Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Falls River; a splendid close by hotel is Grand Targhee Ski And Summer Resort. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much                  to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cave Falls Campground is a great place for that; going for a hike along the West Boundary Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. The annual rain here at Horseshoe Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Horseshoe Lake, you might not ever want to go home again.
