Horseshoe Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawtooth Range. Not much precipitation falls here at Horseshoe Lake; December is the month that gets the most snow while July is commonly the driest month.
For the period of the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Horseshoe Lake, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, typically in the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the winter

| | are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Horseshoe Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Loon Creek is a perfect whitewater spot in close proximity to Horseshoe Lake; Horseshoe Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Elk Mountain RV Resort is a perfect local campground. Camping at Salmon River Campground is always a good experience, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Salmon River.
