High temperatures at Horse Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Horse Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. Yeah, come up here to the Wasatch Range for a glorious time. Horse Lake is not the only spot nearby, Blue Lake is a nearby lake. Why       not take a refreshing hike along the Bloomington Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Logan River. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Horse Lake. Gibson Basin is a good site, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Logan. This lake is so wonderful. Pat Hollow is near Horse Lake and is without doubt a fine place to stop at,                  and Horse Lake is a great spot to camp, Porcupine Campground is a great spot. Horse Lake is right by the Midland Trail, and Beaver Mountain is a magnificent local ski area. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Wasatch Range will keep you coming back again and again. Camping at Horse Lake is good fun, Cloverleaf Campground is a good local campground; hiking along the Limber Pine Trail is nice fun. It is very waterless here at Horse Lake ordinarily; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July.
