Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Horse Lake rocks!. Through the warm months at Horse Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Horse Lake. Horse Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most       of the rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Pebble Creek and strap some skis to your feet; there are fine places to discover along the Portneuf Presto Trail. Dry warm beds await you at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pocatello; Hornet Spring is a fine local attraction. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Portneuf River, and why not camp at Lava Ranch Inn Motel and Camp while you're here at Horse Lake.
