     Take a side tour to Bighorn Creek, and unsurprisingly, this is a nice area for people who like lakes, Cove Lake is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay SnowRun by ResortQuest is a glorious choice, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sun Valley if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful day at Hook Lake you can take a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail. Lakes are splendid; Gentian Lake is  
   a lake that's in close proximity to Hook Lake.
Salmon River - Yankee Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you're here, you might as well check out The Gunsight. Hook Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Marshall Creek Campground is a great local campground, and a tremendous site like The Kettles here at Hook Lake is too magnificent to miss. Chinese Wall is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Hook Lake. There's so
 
               much to do here at Hook Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Holman Creek Campground is a perfect place for that.
High temperatures at Hook Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Hook Lake fall into the-10's. At Hook Lake you don’t see much rainfall; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month is July. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River; Lee Peak is clearly visible from Hook Lake.
