During the summertime months at Hoodoo Lake highs are commonly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Hoodoo Lake. Hoodoo Mine Number One Dam has perfect water scenery and it's in close proximity to Hoodoo Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Salmon River. Hoodoo Lake is pretty arid usually; December is       the wettest month with most snow while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Sun Valley is one of those things you just should do, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Salmon River - Yankee Fork. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Big Boulder Lakes is one of those nearby, and camping at Marshall Creek Campground is always a magnificent experience. Yeah, come here to Hoodoo Lake for a magnificent time. Why not                  take a refreshing hike along the Yellow Belly Trail, and a short journey to Slate Creek Hot Spring is always worthwhile.
