    The beauty of Honeymoon Lake is reason enough to stop by. During the warmest time of the year here at Honeymoon Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Honeymoon Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River - Middle Fork, and Ashley Inn  
   is a great location to get some rest. Honeymoon Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too great to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Bear Valley Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Honeymoon Lake has to offer, you can
 
               camp at Tennessee Creek Campground. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Honeymoon Lake. If you're here at Honeymoon Lake, you could take a look at Half Moon Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Camptender Trail. All year is a great time in the Salmon River Mountains if you adore the outdoors.
This lake is so wonderful. Very striking scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Brundage Mountain; going for a hike on the Sulphur Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure. There are wonderful sites to discover along the Prospect Creek Trail, and Honeymoon Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Velvet Falls Campground is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains.
