 | 15 miles away 7 PHOTOS ...owfall annually, Brundage has an undisputed reputation for the Best Snow in Idaho. A short eight-mile drive from McCall, Brundage has been a favorite of Idahoans for over 46 years. Corduroy lovers rave about the resort's wide, expertly groomed runs, while their powder-hungry pals can easily hop off-trail into endless glades stuffed with feather-light fluff. A mid-week visit to Brundage Mountain is all it takes to understand the resort's long-time claim that it is 'Uncrowded, Unspoiled, and Unbelievable'. Frequent visitors know it's easier to find a fresh line than a lift line at Brundage on a weekday. With an average of 325 inches of annual snowfall, the powder days are plentiful. Clear skies reveal sweeping views of Payette Lake & McCall off one crest, and endless mountain scenery reaching all the way to Oregon's Blue Mountains off the opposite side. The only challenge is deciding how long to savor the natural beauty before plunging back in for more terrific turns. Fortunately, with 1,800 vertical feet and more than 1,500 acres of in-bound terrain, there's plenty of time to... |
