The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Highline Lakes. Why not camp at Race Creek Campground if you're here at Highline Lakes, and you can run the rapids of Selway River. You truly have to like the Clearwater Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail,       and Fawn Lake is a splendid lake nearby. A good spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Highline Lakes is Moose Creek, and lakes are such serene sites, why not explore Buck Lake. Don't leave Highline Lakes without first going for a hike along the Nez Perce Trail, and Drake Saddle is another fine place to stop at nearby. Highline Lakes gets a typical amount of rainfall; through January this area sees the most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month.                  High temperatures at Highline Lakes through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Highline Lakes dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Clearwater Mountains.
