Hideway Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Going for a hike on the Devils Creek Trail is always a nice adventure, and camping at Big Roaring River Lake Campground is always a tremendous experience. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Boise River - North Fork, and not far from Hideway Lake you'll locate Little Rainbow Lake which is a delightful lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boise River -

The smiling folks of Mountain Home like to hang out close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There are good locations to look at along the Hot Springs Creek Trail. Lakes? Sure, Middle Rainbow Lake is nearby. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Hideway Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hideway Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Hideway Lake called the Roaring River Trail, and Hideway Lake is great enough
to spend more than a day at, Little Trinity Lake Campground is a great local campground. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Hideway Lake; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July is when it's the driest.
