Henrys Fork
 | 15 miles away Box Canyon can be floated by most anyone in a canoe, raft, drift boat, kayak or pontoon boat 8'+. There are enough rocks and shoreline sweepers to keep you on your toes. It's mainly floated by anglers or pleasure floaters and is often done several times a day due to it's nice short length of 4 miles. It's not real wilderness but the wilds are closeby and it's got a nice feel.... |

I see parts of boats wrapped around rocks every year. Not for beginners. Fishing can be good and watch for bears, moose and eagles. An easier float starts part of the way down, accessed by the old Bear Gulch ski resort road, if it's open.... |
