The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Ashley Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and an exciting thing to visit right next door to Hidden Lake is Skein Lake Dam. The amount of rain that falls       at Hidden Lake is close to the national average; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Hidden Lake. There's great hiking along the Willow Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is nice on Payette River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. The Campbell Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Hidden Lake that you need to camp                  here for a while, Lake Cascade State Park is a good place for that. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. The vista of Collier Peak from Hidden Lake is gorgeous, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Payette River - North Fork. Nearby lakes? Sure, Shirts Lake is close to Hidden Lake; if you came to camp Water's Edge RV Resort is a perfect site to do that. Summertime highs at Hidden Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Hidden Lake descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
