You get a great sight of Collier Peak from Hidden Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hidden Lake; Willow Creek Trail is a magnificent local trail. So much amusing stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not enough time. If you get bored of Hidden Lake, you could also pop by close by Shirts Lake,       and camping is available at Water's Edge RV Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Campbell Creek Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. You can run the rapids of Payette River - North Fork close to Hidden Lake, and after a long day outdoors Ashley Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.                  Dry warm beds await you at Mccall Super 8 Lodge. Skein Lake Dam is not far at all from Hidden Lake, and good hiking is available along the Blue Lake Trail. Hidden Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. Hidden Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is frequently the driest month. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Hidden Lake is Payette River - North Fork, and a delightful place to camp here at Hidden Lake is Lake Cascade State Park. Summertime at Hidden Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 40's.
