Beautiful Hidden Lake has much to offer visitors. Hidden Lake is located in the Wasatch Range. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Hidden Lake, so little time. While you're here at Hidden Lake, you could also stop by picturesque Wiggler Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks from Logan here. If you came to camp Porcupine Campground is a brilliant location to do that, and Logan River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much

| | to do here at Hidden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cloverleaf Campground is a perfect site for that, and don't leave Hidden Lake without first going for a hike along the Limber Pine Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Hidden Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while July is ordinarily the driest month. those things you just ought to do. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wasatch Range. Going for a hike on the Bloomington Lake Trail is always a nice adventure; Horse Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. But wait, there's
more exciting stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. Near Hidden Lake you find Corral Hollow which is a splendid location to pop by, and there are great locations to explore along the Midland Trail. This lake is so wonderful. For the
period of the summertime months at Hidden Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, usually in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 30's; overnight lows at Hidden Lake all through the wintertime generally drop into the 10's.

Bloomington Lake Trail
 | ...rail and Bloomington Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs. There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge.  | The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |
