A typical amount of rain falls here at Heath Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect site for whitewater paddling next to Heath Lake is Pack River, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Green Mountain Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Heath Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs all through the       winter are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Heath Lake are in the 10's. Camping is available at Alpine Park, and the White Mountain Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. This location is excellent, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do near Heath Lake. Meandering Moose Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest, and the snow is magnificent at Schweitzer. Bridgeview Creek is a stream that you may come across while here,                  and why not camp at Travel America Plaza since you're here at Heath Lake. If you need a place to stay Country Inn is a brilliant choice, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Leiberg-Athol Trail.
