This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Big Lookout Lake is a lake close by, and do take a hike on the Hot Springs Creek Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Big Spring Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and the Roaring River Trail offers hiking at its best. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are really bountiful here at Heart Lake. There's whitewater on Boise River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and Heart

| | Lake is right by the Devils Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are delightful; Little Lookout Lake is a lake that's next to Heart Lake; Heart Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Big Roaring River Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground.

Fork. There's so much to do here at Heart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little Trinity Lake Campground is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful.
The top of Trinity Mountain is easily seen from Heart Lake,
and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Mountain Home is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. At Heart Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Heart Lake fall into the 10's.
