the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Heart Lake. From a rain point of view Heart Lake is a rather common site; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is
when it's the driest.
Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Big Lookout Lake close to Heart Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Boise River - South Fork. Little Trinity Lake Campground is a tremendous campground here.
