Hidden Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Yellow Belly Trail. If you need a spot to stay SnowRun by ResortQuest is a tremendous choice; what would a place like Headwall Lake be without exciting nearby traits like Castle Peak. Summertime highs at Headwall Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. Once       the sun is down it plunges down to the 30's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Headwall Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Salmon River - Yankee Fork; a great site to camp here at Headwall Lake is Holman Creek Campground. Headwall Lake is ordinarily a quite dried out site; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month of the year                  is July. Windy Devil is next to Headwall Lake and is a great location, and of course Bighorn Creek flows through this neighborhood. All the outdoors cool things close to Headwall Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Merriam Peak is a peak you can observe from Headwall Lake, and don’t forget to have a look at Four Lakes Basin if you're here at Headwall Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
