What a nice lake Headwall Lake is. Camping at Holman Creek Campground is always a splendid experience, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Sun Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Four Lakes Basin is a delightful spot. Around Headwall Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Take a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail, and Salmon River is

| | a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Merriam Peak is stunning and can be spotted from Headwall Lake, and after a long day outdoors Clarion Inn Ketchum is a great location to spend a night or two. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Headwall Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Headwall Lake dipping down into the-10's all | |

Windy Devil is a wonderful place to go to nearby, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River - Yankee Fork. There's just no way someone
can get bored here at Headwall Lake. A wonderful place to camp here at Headwall Lake is Marshall Creek Campground; Castle Peak is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. Some nearby water includes Bighorn Creek. Lakes? Sure, Big Boulder Lakes is in the vicinity.
