Summertime highs at Hazard Lake commonly       tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Hazard Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Hazard Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. Whitetail Club and Resort is a tremendous place to get some rest, and there are other places here than Hazard Lake, for example Upper                  Hazard Lake. The peak of Bruin Mountain can be seen from Hazard Lake, and Hazard Campground is a great local campground. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Hazard Lake. Don't leave Hazard Lake without first going for a hike along the Lava Butte Trail, and it's a great idea to explore Big Dave Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - North Fork, and splendid hiking is available along the Broken Leg Trail. After a long day outdoors AmericInn McCall is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; Hazard Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Grouse Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby.
