A brilliant site to camp here at Lake Hayden is Coeur D'Alene North/Hayden Lake KOA, and there are brilliant spots to discover along the Leiberg-Athol Trail. The view of pretty Canfield Buttes near Lake Hayden is delightful; nearby you come across the English Point National Recreation Trail which is a delightful hiking trail.

This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn And Suites Coeur d' Alene; The Coeur D'Alene Resort Golf Course is a golf course close by.
