Hat Creek Lakes is a nice lake to visit. And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Stay the night at Royal Gorge Motel, and there's great hiking along the Twin Buttes Trail. Hat Creek Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Panther Creek in a kayak, and get drenched paddling on Salmon River.
