This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. Hard Creek Lake is not the only location close by, Hidden Lake is a close by lake, and AmericInn McCall is a pleasant site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Hard Creek Basin are tremendous       to stop by, and going for a hike on the Lava Butte Trail is always a magnificent adventure. There's so much to do here at Hard Creek Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hazard Campground is a fine site for that, and you can go for a hike on the Crestline Trail. Any time is a wonderful time at Hard Creek Lake if you fancy the outdoors. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mccall-The Hunt Lodge, Id is a wonderful choice, and there                  are brilliant places to look at along the Broken Leg Trail. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back many times. A lake nearby is Upper Hazard Lake, and if you came to camp Grouse Campground is a great spot to do that. Hard Creek Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. Hard Creek Lake is commonly a relatively dried up spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. All through the days of summer highs here at Hard Creek Lake get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
