During the months of summer here at Harbor Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Harbor Lake through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 0's. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is excellent!.       The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in the vicinity of Harbor Lake has to offer. Paddling on Camas Creek is so much fun; Harbor Lake sits in the shade of the Bighorn Crags. If you came for an overnight stay Crags Campground is a great location to camp, and there are good locations to discover along the Waterfall Trail. Harbor Lake is pretty dehydrated generally; June is                  when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. Don't leave Harbor Lake without first going for a hike along the Clear Creek Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Airplane Lake. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. The sight of scenic Bighorn Crags near Harbor Lake is great, and get wet paddling on Panther Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
