Do stop by Halo Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. Camping is available at Hidden Creek Campground, and you can catch a sight of Bacon Peak from Halo Lake. The Cedar Creek Stock Driveway is a pleasant hiking trail close to Halo Lake; there's some flowing water close by, Bean Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a great place to get some rest, and a nice location for whitewater paddling
