If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a fine panorama of Bismark Mountain from Hager Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Priest River. On a fine day at Hager Lake you can take a hike along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail; of course Hazard Creek flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Schweitzer. If you come at       the right time of year, Priest River offers some glorious whitewater, and why not camp at Kaniksu RV Park and Resort while you're here at Hager Lake. High temperatures at Hager Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; overnight lows at Hager Lake throughout the winter generally dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.                  If you came for an overnight stay Nordman Campground is a great place to camp; a lake close by is Reeder Lake. A round of golf at nearby Priest Lake Golf Course is a good way to kill some time; Hager Lake is not the only site close by, Kerr Lake is a close by lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Hager Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July on the other hand is the driest. You simply must love Hager Lake.
