Do visit Big Boulder Lakes right next door to Gunsight Lake, it's a wonderful lake; don't leave Gunsight Lake without first going for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Gunsight Lake is unbeatable! Bighorn Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out; a good spot nearby is The Gunsight. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves       The Kettles; if the weather is delightful, you obtain a pleasant panorama of Lee Peak from Gunsight Lake. During the months of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Gunsight Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Gunsight Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Gunsight Lake; December is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is                  the driest. The skiing at Sun Valley is delightful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Gunsight Lake has to offer, you can camp at Marshall Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Salmon River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. You need to take a look at Chinese Wall if you're here at Gunsight Lake, and you can stay the night at Holman Creek Campground.
