Grouse Lakes gets a common amount of annual precipitation; during January this area sees the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawtooth Range. Through the months of summer at Grouse Lakes highs are generally in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's,       and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Grouse Lakes temperatures drop to the 10's. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Grouse Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. The Yuba River Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Grouse Lakes; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is rather near. Senator Creek is a delightful stream that is worth stopping at, and camping at Grouse Lakes is magnificent                  fun, Bighorn Campground is a magnificent local campground. There is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Grouse Lakes called the Bremner Trail, and why not camp at Powerplant Campground if you're here at Grouse Lakes. This location, the Sawtooth Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. Going for a hike on the Hot Springs Creek Trail is always a nice adventure; one of the overriding features of the surroundings of Grouse Lakes is Gunsight Peak.   Clarion Inn Ketchum, Ketchum 49 miles away Nestled in the heart of the Sawtooth Mountains.
