  You should beyond doubt dedicate some time to Kooskooskia Meadows since you're here at Grouse Lake. Why not camp at White Sand Campground if you're here at Grouse Lake; a trip to Clearwater National Forest revitalizes the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Elk Summit. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range.
The Papoose Creek to Indian Grave Creek portion has a distance of 20 miles; you locate this section
    of whitewater on Lochsa River. It's a grade III section. This portion of Lochsa River is well suited for paddlers who have been whitewater boating for a while but who are not yet set for the very risky rapids.
