Grimes Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do in the Bitterroot Range. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Sand Creek, and a lake nearby is Storm Lake. The Lee Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best; Grimes Lake is not the only spot nearby, Spruce Creek Lakes is a nearby lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. Not sufficient

| | hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's fine hiking along the Saint Mary Peak Trail, and camping is available at Lee Creek Campground. For the duration of the summertime here at Grimes Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Grimes Lake tend to be in the 10's. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Brushy Fork is a great whitewater spot close to Grimes Lake; don't leave Grimes Lake without first going for a hike along the Sally Ridge Trail. Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a great spot to get some rest,
and if you came for an overnight stay Fort Lolo Hot Springs is a great place to camp. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Grimes Lake; January is the wettest month with most snow; the driest of the months is July. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range, too glorious to be true.

Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore.
