Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Grimes Lake is one of them. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Grimes Lake called the Lee Ridge Trail; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Sally Ridge Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Grimes Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Grimes Lake

Grimes Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Grimes Lake; during January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Brushy Fork, and Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a pleasant location to get some rest.
