If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Grays Lake. Grays Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Mill Canyon Campground is a brilliant local campground. There's so much to do here at Grays Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gravel Creek Campground is a wonderful place for that, and if you need a location to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - MONTPELIER is a fine choice. Grays Lake Dam has nice       water scenery and it's close to Grays Lake; since you're here why not explore Clarks Cut. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Dry Valley Trail; a pleasant visit to Clark Valley is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. A short tour to Chubb Springs is always worthwhile; hiking along the Oregon Trail - Lander Cutoff is tremendous fun. Grays Lake gets very little rain; through May this area sees the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month.                  The warmest time of the year at Grays Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
