    Granite Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. So much cool stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not sufficient time. On a nice day at Granite Lake you can take a hike along the Box Lake Trail, and Ellis Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Granite Lake called the Fall Creek Trail, and you can stay the night at Upper Payette Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll  
   need more than a day to discover everything Granite Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Payette Campground, and after a long day outdoors Whitetail Club and Resort is a great location to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at AmericInn McCall. Granite Lake is a location that is quite dried up typically; most of the rain falls during May while July is commonly the driest month. There's no way anyone can get bored
 
               here in the Salmon River Mountains. Granite Lake Dam is not far at all from Granite Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - North Fork.
Granite Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. You must positively dedicate some time to Sater Meadows if you're here at Granite Lake, and since you're here, you could also explore stunning Horton Lake. The warmest time of the year at Granite Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Granite Lake.
But wait, there's more to do next to Granite Lake. If the weather is great here at Granite Lake, you can go for a hike along the Crestline Trail; why not take a little spree to East Fork Fisher Creek if you're here.
