If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Granite Lake. There's so much to do here at Granite Lake that you need to camp here for a while, LoLo Hot Springs Resort is a pleasant site for that, and there's great hiking along the Tepee Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Sally Ridge Trail, and Skookum Butte is pretty and can be spotted from here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Granite Lake has to offer,

| | you can camp at Fort Lolo Hot Springs, and a magnificent location for whitewater paddling is Brushy Fork.
From a rain point of view Granite Lake is a reasonably typical site; the month with most of the snow is January while July is commonly the driest month. Summertime highs at Granite Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's.
