Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is a good place to do that, and if you've had enough of Governors Punchbowl, Titus Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Dry Canyon is a magnificent place to have a look at nearby. During the summer months at Governors Punchbowl highs are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's       overnight here at Governors Punchbowl. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Prairie Campground is a brilliant site to camp, and you can run the rapids of Salmon River. Governors Punchbowl is pretty dry commonly; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month of the year is July. A good location for whitewater paddling right next door to Governors Punchbowl is Salmon                  River; Smoky Bear Campground is a great campground nearby. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Sun Valley; hiking is a popular thing to do around Governors Punchbowl; Yellow Belly Trail is a great local trail. Just can't get enough of Governors Punchbowl. Getting to Twin Creek from Governors Punchbowl is trouble-free, and the Bull Moose Trail offers hiking at its best.
