Go to Gospel Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. Summer at Gospel Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Gospel Lakes temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Clearwater River - South Fork is so much fun, and camping at South Fork Campground is always a wonderful experience. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Gospel Lakes has to offer. East Gospel Lake is a good lake nearby. Just can't get enough of the Clearwater Mountains. At Gospel Lakes you can see Gospel Hill; if you're here you can take a hike along the Reed Bar Trail.
Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge
is a good place to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Broken Leg Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. A quick tour to Bentz Creek near Gospel Lakes is a good idea, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Nellie Mountain Trail. Gospel Lakes is located in the Clearwater Mountains.
