If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Goose Lake. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are truly plentiful here at Goose Lake. On a magnificent day at Goose Lake you can take a hike along the Crestline Trail, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Lava Butte Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Whitetail Club and Resort is a great site to spend a night or two, and get dripping wet paddling

Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Last Chance Campground is a great place for that. Summertime highs at Goose Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Goose Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
Goose Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is May;
July meanwhile is the driest month. Do pop by Grass Mountain Lakes near Goose Lake, it's a lovely lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Goose Lake has to offer, you can camp at Grouse Campground. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
