Golden Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Around Golden Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Sawtooth Peak is a peak you can see from Golden Lake; going for a hike on the Fall Creek Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Golden Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Black Lee Campground is a wonderful

| | local campground, and Slick Rock is an interesting thing to see while you're here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Anderson Lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Black Lee Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. | |

If you need a site to stay AmericInn McCall is a perfect choice, and there are pleasant locations to explore along the Box Lake Trail. All the outdoors fun things near Golden Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. This is
a great area for people who like lakes. Thirtythree Lake is a lake around here, and don't leave Golden Lake without first going for a hike along the Boulder Driveway Trail. Summertime at Golden Lake arrives with high temperatures
in the 90's; the nighttime is rather colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Golden Lake. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in
the Salmon River Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Mccall Super 8 Lodge, and there's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lake Fork Campground is always a glorious experience.
