Golden Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. A pleasant place to camp here at Golden Lake is Mill Creek Campground, and a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Henrys Fork. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Golden Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Golden Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A

If you need a location to stay Island Park Village Resort is a great choice, and there's some flowing water nearby, East Thurmon Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. Golden Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Jackson Landing Campground is a fine local campground, and you're sure to stumble upon some cheerful folks from Rexburg here. Golden Lake, you can go for a hike along the Dry Creek Trail, and Coyote Gulch is another tremendous location to stop by close by. The Willow Creek Trail is a splendid hiking trail near Golden Lake; a round of golf at nearby Fremont
County Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time. Golden Lake is a location that is reasonably waterless commonly; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
