If you came for an overnight stay Spruce Tree Campground is a delightful location to camp, and get dripping wet paddling on Clearwater River - North Fork. At Gold Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, regularly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at       Gold Lake drop into the 10's. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Copper Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and paddling on St. Joe River is so much fun. What a place this is for outdoors people. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis. Gold Lake is a good place of common rain; through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Creek Campground is a fine                  local campground, and there's great hiking along the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway. At Gold Lake you can see Bacon Peak, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Silver Lake is just a very short distance away.
