Really great skiing awaits you at Lost Trail, and at Goat Lakes you can catch a sight of Diablo Mountain. Summertime at Goat Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Goat Lakes temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.       Diablo Spring is always fun to check out, and Goat Lakes is a good place to camp, Colt Creek Campground is a good place. White Sand Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. Goat Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Goat Lakes is a good place of typical rain; during January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range, not enough time.
