A good place to camp here at Goat Lake is Cedar Flats Campground, and you obtain a good vista of Square Rock from here. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Goat Lake. Good hiking is available along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail. All through the warm days of summer,

| | highs commonly are in the 80's at Goat Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Goat Lake.
Go for a hike on the Nez Perce Trail, and Moose Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's nice hiking along the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail, and camping is available at Poet Creek Campground. | |

This lake is located in the wonderful Clearwater Mountains. The amount of rainfall that falls at Goat Lake
