Goat Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. While you're here at Goat Lake you can take a hike along the Broken Leg Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Goat Lake has to offer, you can camp at Spring Bar Campground. At Goat Lake you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but

| | there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Devils Hole is a delightful location here at Goat Lake, and John Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Lava Butte Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; whitewater paddling is fine on Little Salmon River. can stay the night at Allison Creek Campground. At Goat Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights
come with lows in the 20's to Goat Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. A delightful panorama of pretty Patrick Butte is available from Goat Lake, and if you get bored of Goat Lake you could also have a look at
close by Mary Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more entertaining stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. If you need a location to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a great choice; get soaked paddling on Hard Creek. Goat Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains.
