If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. You can distinguish Patrick Butte from Goat Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Goat Lake has to offer, you can camp       at Spring Bar Campground. This place, the Salmon River Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Near Goat Lake you find the Lava Butte Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Hard Creek. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Goat Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Goat Lake dipping down into the 20's through                  winter nights. Whitetail Club and Resort is a wonderful site to get some rest. Lakes are glorious; John Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Goat Lake. Around Goat Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Goat Lake, you'll stumble on Mary Lake which is a beautiful lake; you can stay the night at Allison Creek Campground. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.
