Goat Lake is a nice lake to visit. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Goat Lake. There's whitewater on Hard Creek for all you adrenaline people, and from Goat Lake you obtain a delightful panorama of Patrick Butte. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Goat Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically

| | in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Goat Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Chair Point Look Out is a brilliant choice, and Devils Hole is a tremendous site to check out. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little Salmon River, and if you came for an overnight stay Spring Bar Campground is a delightful spot to camp.
