    If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Goat Lake. An average amount of precipitation falls at Goat Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Goat Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawtooth Range. During the summertime months highs here at Goat Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's  
   with temperatures at Goat Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River, and the top of Thompson Peak is easily observed from Goat Lake. On a wonderful day at Goat Lake you can take a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Iron Creek Campground is a delightful place to camp. Having a delightful time in the Sawtooth Range is easy. If the weather is great
 
               here at Goat Lake, you can go for a hike along the Bull Moose Trail, and Stanley Lake Campground is a perfect campground here.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you haven’t been to Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here, and do put some time aside to spend at Goat Falls since you're here at Goat Lake.
