What a nice lake Goat Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Crooked Fork in close proximity to Goat Lake. There's so much to do here at Goat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wendover Campground is a magnificent spot for that. For the duration of the summer months here at Goat Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in

| | the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Goat Lake tend to be in the 10's. Having a pleasant time in the Bitterroot Range is uncomplicated. The Williams Range is one of the things that make Goat Lake so delightful, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Granite Ridge Trail.
