Goat Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you're addicted to cool geologic traits, try Kellys Finger, and if you get bored of Goat Lake you could also have a look at close by Williams Lake. Goat Lake is right by the State Line Trail, and if you came to camp Wendover Campground is a glorious spot to do that. Yeah, come up here to the Bitterroot Range for a glorious time. Get dripping wet paddling on Crooked Fork, and camping at

Be careful coming to the Bitterroot Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Williams Peak is scenic and can be spotted from Goat Lake, and obviously Billy Rhodes Creek is a delightful stream that is worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. It is very dry here at Goat Lake regularly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Granite Ridge
Trail, and Goat Lake is not the only place close by, Cayuse Lake is a close by lake.
Through the months of summer here at Goat Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The
winter comes with highs in the 30's while Goat Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Goat Lake. Take a hike on the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail, and soar down the rapids of Lochsa River in a kayak.
