The beauty of Glendale Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. The Bloomington Lake Trail is a nice hiking trail near Glendale Reservoir, and a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Bear River. Be careful coming to Glendale Reservoir, you might not ever want to go home again. Lakes are delightful; Johnson Reservoir is a lake that's near Glendale Reservoir, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LOGAN is a tremendous choice.

This lake is so wonderful. A perfect place to camp here at Glendale Reservoir is High Creek Campground, and Preston Golf & Country Club is a fine golf course close by. There's always Glendale Dam to check out close to Glendale Reservoir; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the High Line Trail. Bloomington Lake Trail

... Bloomington Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs.
There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge. We floated the Wayland Hot Springs to the Weston Bridge. You cannot put in downriver from the Highway 91 bridge anymore. However you can cross the highway and park and put in at the Riverside RV and trailer park. They have a boat ramp and a great place to camp. About a half mile above Squaw Hotsprings, a fence has been hung across the river, watch out that you don't snag your head, duck! After that there really is no obstructions until you get to the diverson about 2 miles above the Weston Bridge. Run this right down the middle.
